INGREDIENTS
1/2 Cup unsalted Butter
1/2 cup All-Purpose Flour
4 cups cold Chicken Stock
1/3 cup Heavy Cream
Salt and Ground White Pepper to taste
1 pinch Cayenne Pepper
1 pinch Black Pepper
DIRECTIONS
Place the butter in a saucepan over medium-low heat, let it melt then add the flour while whisking to let come together. Gradually start adding the chicken cold stock while reducing the heat to low.
Keep stirring vigorously until the gravy becomes thick enough to coat the back of the spoon. Now stir in the heavy cream, season with salt and spices, serve hot.
