Tartar Sauce

Nothing like homemade tartar sauce with fresh herbs for fish, fries, shrimp, crab cakes, and even roasted veggies or whatever tickles your Tartarian fancy. So quick and simple to make, just blend and refrigerate!

Tartar Sauce

INGREDIENTS

1 Large Onion, roughly chopped
3 tbsp. Capers
1/4 cup Cornichons, chopped
3/4 cup Mayonnaise
3 tbsp. Parsley, chopped
2 tbsp. dill, chopped
1 tbsp. Chives, chopped
1 tbsp. Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice
1 tsp. Dijon Mustard
1/2 tsp. Fresh Ground Pepper
1/4 cup Olive Oil

METHOD

In a food processor, combine the shallot, capers, and cornichons and pulse until finely chopped. Add the mayonnaise, parsley, dill, chives, lemon juice, mustard, and pepper and process to blend. Add the olive oil in a slow, steady stream until the process until well combined. Refrigerate for up to 3 days.
